Your initial consultation is free and carries no obligation. Work begins only after you have received and approved a written proposal describing the services and terms that apply to your project.

3. You keep your rights and royalties

You retain 100% of the copyright in your work and 100% of your royalties. Your Book Journey acts as your service provider and partner — not as the owner of your book. Your name stays on the copyright, the ISBN, and every royalty payment from retailers.

4. Your responsibilities

You confirm that any manuscript or material you provide is your own original work (or that you hold the rights to it), that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights, and that it contains no unlawful content. You agree to provide accurate information and the cooperation reasonably needed for us to deliver your project.

5. Fees and payment

The fees for your project and the payment schedule are set out in your individual proposal or agreement. We will always be clear and upfront about what is included before any work begins.

6. Our satisfaction guarantee

We stand behind our work. Where a money-back guarantee applies to your project, its terms are described in your written agreement. If you ever have a concern, contact us — we will always work to make it right.

7. No guarantee of results

Publishing success depends on many factors beyond our control. While we bring professional craft and experience to every project, we cannot and do not guarantee specific sales figures, rankings, reviews, or other commercial outcomes.

8. Confidentiality

We treat your manuscript, ideas, and project details as confidential. Ghostwriting work is kept fully confidential and credited entirely to you.

9. Website intellectual property

The content, design, logos, and materials on this website are owned by Your Book Journey and may not be copied or reused without permission. This does not affect your ownership of your own work.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Your Book Journey is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Your Book Journey harmless from any claim arising out of material you provide that infringes a third party’s rights or violates the law.
